IKEA Fuzhou , Fujian Province, celebrated the topping-out of the project – completion of main building structure – on May 8th, 2020. With a GFA of approx. 115,000 sqm, the mall will accommodate, besides the main retail areas of IKEA itself, more than 50 additional shops. BMP is entrusted with comprising EPCM-Services, including the coordination of interfaces/utilities etc. of all 3rd party tenants.
Unperturbed by some difficulties due to the pandemic, BMP delivered in Changzhou 2 extension projects for longterm clients successfully as scheduled:
- Engel/Wintec Phase II, with 22,000 sqm floor area, with geothermal energy, comprising BAS System etc., standard of Engel worldwide.
- AGCO Phase IIb, with 7,000 sqm floor for additional production and warehousing purposes.
In parallel construction is ongoing for the AKRO Project aswell in Changzhou, also in this case the pandemic measures didn’t influence the overall project schedule.
Site Installation Works started for the large scale extension of Wirtgen Production Plant in Langfang, Hebei Province. Wirtgen selected again BMP as its reliable partner for this project, with several earlier successful cooperations in recent years.

Today piling works started for the DBSchenker Logistics Project in Pinghu. More than 2,000 piles will be driven to a depth of 80,000 m, establishing the foundation for this 2-storey, 60,000 sqm floor area project.
